TrimMatch helps shoppers pick the right car type and segment (subcompact, compact SUV, midsize sedan, etc.) based on practical constraints instead of marketing labels. Users answer a short questionnaire about passengers, cargo needs, parking/garage size, commute, climate, towing, and budget. The app then recommends 2–3 best-fit segments and explains trade-offs (e.g., why a compact SUV beats a midsize sedan for rear-seat access, or why a hatchback wins for city parking). It also includes a “Reality Check” module that estimates ownership friction: local fuel/energy costs, insurance ranges by segment, tire/brake wear expectations, and common pain points. This is not a dealer lead-gen app; it’s a decision tool that reduces regret and narrows choices before users waste weekends test-driving the wrong category. Monetization is subscription or one-time “guided shortlist” purchase.
