TrimTruth

TrimTruth is a mobile + web app that helps sedan shoppers cut through confusing trim names, option packages, and dealer add-ons. It aggregates real-world listings and window-sticker data to map each sedan’s trims to what you actually get (safety tech, headlights, seats, audio, driver assist), what it should cost, and which options are worth paying for. Users can compare trims across models, set a “must-have” feature list, and get alerts when a listing matches their requirements at a fair price. The app also flags common bait-and-switch patterns (missing packages, inflated add-ons, misleading photos) and provides a simple negotiation checklist tailored to the exact trim and region. It’s not a magic “get a deal” button—inventory and pricing still rule—but it saves hours and reduces expensive mistakes.
