TrueTCO is a mobile + web app that calculates and tracks your actual total cost of owning a specific vehicle (or your current one) using real-world data instead of optimistic averages. Connect your bank/credit card to auto-categorize fuel, charging, insurance, maintenance, parking, tolls, and payments, then reconcile anything it mislabels. Add your vehicle trim, mileage, location, and driving pattern to estimate depreciation, tires, major services, and likely repairs. The app shows a clean “cost per mile” and “monthly all-in” number, compares it to alternative vehicles, and flags when you’re drifting above expected costs (e.g., insurance renewal spike, abnormal fuel spend, frequent repairs). It’s brutally transparent: if your car is financially bleeding you, it says so and suggests the cheapest next move (keep, fix, refinance, sell, downgrade). This is a combination traditional + AI app (AI for categorization, anomaly detection, and forecasting).
