TruthTally

TruthTally is a web app (with optional CLI) that continuously checks the quality of operational and analytics data where it actually breaks: after pipelines change, vendors update schemas, or teams ship new events. Connect your warehouse (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift) and define lightweight “truth tests” for key tables: freshness, volume, uniqueness, referential integrity, and business-rule checks (e.g., revenue can’t be negative; paid users must have a payment method). It auto-generates baseline expectations from recent history, then alerts only when deviations are statistically meaningful. The product focuses on fast setup for small teams: opinionated templates for common models (orders, subscriptions, events), a simple rule editor, and incident timelines that show when a metric drift started and which upstream job changed. It won’t replace full observability suites, but it will give teams a pragmatic, affordable layer of guardrails.
