TryoutScore is a mobile + web AI-assisted evaluation tool for coaches running real-world tryouts. It replaces messy clipboards and gut-feel rankings with standardized rubrics, timed drills, and quick scoring on a phone. Coaches set up a tryout template (sport, age group, positions), assign evaluators, and run stations with consistent criteria. The app captures scores, notes, and optional short video clips per athlete, then generates a ranked shortlist with confidence flags (e.g., “high variance between evaluators,” “limited reps,” “outlier speed score”). AI helps by summarizing evaluator notes, detecting scoring inconsistencies, and producing a clean report for parents/club admins. This is not a magic “future pro” predictor; it’s a practical system to make selection decisions faster, more defensible, and easier to repeat across seasons.
