TSBackfillr

TSBackfillr is a web app (with a lightweight CLI) that detects, explains, and safely backfills gaps in time-series data across common TSDBs. It connects to InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, Prometheus remote-write endpoints, and ClickHouse, then continuously checks for missing intervals, late-arriving data, and duplicate points caused by retries. When it finds gaps, it generates a backfill plan (queries + rate limits + idempotency strategy), runs it in controlled batches, and verifies results with before/after coverage reports. It also provides guardrails: per-metric budgets, blast-radius limits, and rollback-by-tag for systems that support it. This is a traditional app with targeted AI assistance: AI helps propose backfill queries and remediation steps, but execution is deterministic and auditable. The goal is to reduce on-call pain and stop dashboards/alerts from lying due to silent data loss.
