TurnoutPulse

TurnoutPulse is a web app (with an optional mobile companion) for nonpartisan civic groups and local election offices to monitor turnout risk in near real time and deploy targeted outreach. It ingests public election data (historical precinct turnout, early vote totals where available), overlays census and district boundaries, and produces simple “turnout gap” alerts by geography and demographic proxy (age bands, renter-heavy areas, language needs). The app then generates compliant outreach plans: canvass lists (where legally allowed), SMS/email scripts, flyer templates, and partner task boards for community organizations. It’s brutally practical: it won’t magically predict voters, and it can’t access private voter files unless the customer provides them. The value is operational clarity—showing where participation is lagging and what to do next—without requiring a data science team.
