TurnTaker

TurnTaker is a mobile + tablet app for ages 3–6 that helps kids practice turn-taking, waiting, and polite requesting during real play (blocks, board games, playground time). Parents or teachers start a “session,” pick the activity, and the app runs a simple visual timer with kid-friendly prompts (“Your turn,” “Wait hands,” “Ask nicely”). It includes short, scripted micro-scenarios (e.g., two kids want the same toy) and a quick debrief screen to label feelings and choose a repair action (“trade,” “set a timer,” “find another toy”). It’s not a miracle cure: it won’t fix aggression or deep behavior issues alone. But it can provide consistent structure and language when adults are busy and kids are melting down. Progress is tracked by sessions completed and which coping scripts were used, not by vague “mood” scores.
