TurnTimer

TurnTimer is a mobile app that acts as a “table referee” for kids’ board and card games. It handles turn order, timed turns, simple score tracking, and dispute prompts (“Was that card drawn from the top?”) without trying to replace the game. Parents can pick a game template (or a generic mode), set house rules (turn length, mulligans, take-backs), and start a session in seconds. The app uses light AI only for voice-based turn passing (“Next player”) and quick rule reminders from parent-entered notes—no risky web-scraped rules database. The goal is practical: reduce arguments, keep the pace moving, and help younger kids learn turn-taking and sportsmanship. It’s not glamorous, but it’s useful at the exact moment families get frustrated and stop playing. Monetization is straightforward: free core, paid “family pack” for templates, history, and multi-device sync.
