TzedekLens is a web + mobile app that helps Jewish donors and small foundations do basic due diligence on charities and specific campaigns—without pretending to replace professional auditors. It pulls public filings, financial ratios, leadership info, and program outcomes into a simple “trust and impact” brief, then lets users track donations against stated goals over time. An AI assistant summarizes long documents (990s, annual reports, grant updates) into plain-language highlights and red flags, and generates a short “giving memo” you can share with family, a synagogue committee, or a donor circle. The app also supports cause filters relevant to Jewish philanthropy (Israel, local community, education, chesed, emergency relief) and can recommend a diversified giving plan. Realistically, most charities won’t have perfect data; the product wins by making uncertainty explicit and still useful.
