UnderwriteKit is a web + mobile AI-assisted mortgage “document readiness” app that helps borrowers assemble an underwriter-grade file before (and during) the loan process. Users connect bank accounts and payroll, upload documents, and the app auto-classifies items (W-2s, paystubs, tax returns, bank statements), flags missing pages, detects common red flags (large deposits, inconsistent names/addresses, expired IDs), and generates a simple action list with exact fixes. It also produces a shareable, permissioned “Borrower Package” link for lenders/LOs, with an audit trail and standardized naming so files don’t get lost in email threads. This is not a rate-shopping tool; it’s a friction-reduction tool aimed at cutting conditions, back-and-forth, and closing delays. Realistically, it won’t eliminate underwriting, but it can reduce avoidable mistakes and speed up the document loop.
