UnitLedger is a mobile + web app for people and small businesses who rent storage units and constantly lose track of what’s inside. You create a “unit” and log items by snapping quick photos, adding a few tags, and optionally recording box numbers and rough dimensions. The app generates a simple inventory with search, categories, and a printable/exportable list for insurance claims or moves. It also tracks unit costs, due dates, and rate increases so you can see what you’re paying to store what you barely use. This is not a magic auto-recognition app; it’s a fast, structured logging tool that reduces the chaos of storage. The MVP focuses on speed, offline capture in bad-reception facilities, and dead-simple retrieval when you’re standing in front of your unit.
