UnitPilot

UnitPilot is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for designing realistic curriculum units that survive real school constraints. Instead of starting with standards maps, it starts with time: bell schedules, holidays, testing windows, IEP/ELL service minutes, and available materials. You drag outcomes, lessons, and assessments into a calendar-aware unit plan, and the app flags common failure points: too many objectives for the time, assessments that don’t match evidence, missing prerequisite skills, and overloaded weeks. It generates printable pacing guides, parent-friendly overviews, and admin-ready unit snapshots. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI suggests lesson sequences, checks alignment between objectives and assessments, and proposes differentiation options, but you stay in control with transparent “why” notes. The goal is fewer abandoned plans and less late-night rework.
