Unmaskd
Unmaskd is a mobile AI + traditional app that helps users practice self-acceptance through short, structured “reality checks” instead of vague positivity. You log a moment of self-criticism (text or voice), then the app guides you through three steps: name the trigger, separate facts from interpretations, and choose a self-respecting response you can actually believe. It includes a “Believability Slider” so you don’t write affirmations you’ll reject, and a library of evidence-based prompts inspired by CBT/ACT (without pretending to replace therapy). Weekly summaries show recurring themes (appearance, performance, relationships) and track whether your self-talk is becoming less extreme. Privacy is central: on-device redaction for sensitive info, optional local-only mode, and clear data controls. The goal is not to become “confident,” but to reduce self-hostility in daily life with repeatable micro-practices.
