UnseenSelf

UnseenSelf is a mobile + web AI-assisted shadow work journal that focuses on one thing: converting messy emotional moments into repeatable insights and small behavior experiments. Instead of generic prompts, it captures a “trigger snapshot” in under 60 seconds (what happened, body sensation, emotion, impulse, story you told yourself). The app then clusters snapshots into recurring themes (e.g., rejection sensitivity, control, envy, shame) and suggests short, evidence-based exercises (parts dialogue, somatic grounding, cognitive reframe, values-based action). It also includes a weekly “pattern review” that shows what’s improving and what’s not—no mystical language, just trend lines and plain-English summaries. Privacy is treated as a product feature: local device lock, optional end-to-end encrypted sync, and a strict “no training on your data” policy. This is for people who want growth without therapy jargon overload.
