UTMJanitor
UTMJanitor is a web app (with a lightweight Chrome extension) that audits, standardizes, and enforces campaign tracking across paid media. It scans ad destination URLs from Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and major DSPs, then flags missing/invalid UTMs, inconsistent naming, redirect chains, and parameter stripping. It generates a single source-of-truth taxonomy (campaign/source/medium/content/term), provides one-click fixes via bulk upload templates, and monitors drift over time so tracking doesn’t silently degrade. It also validates that landing pages preserve parameters through common redirect/CDN setups and highlights which pages or tag managers are dropping them. This is not “perfect attribution”; it’s brutally practical hygiene that prevents analytics from becoming unusable. The product lives between media buying and analytics: simple enough for performance teams, strict enough for data teams, and focused on preventing expensive reporting chaos.
