UXFriction
UXFriction is a web app (with a lightweight JS SDK) that pinpoints where users get stuck, confused, or abandon flows—then explains why in plain language. It combines traditional analytics with AI-assisted session summarization: it clusters rage clicks, dead clicks, form errors, time-to-first-action, and repeated backtracks into “friction hotspots” tied to specific UI elements. For each hotspot, it generates a short diagnosis (e.g., unclear label, hidden affordance, validation timing) and a prioritized fix list, plus a confidence score and supporting evidence (replays, heatmaps, error logs). It’s built for teams that don’t have a dedicated UX researcher but still need actionable UX insights. Brutal reality: this space is crowded; the only way it’s worth building is by being faster to insight and cheaper to adopt than full-suite incumbents, while staying privacy-first and lightweight.
