ValveWatch is a web + mobile AI-assisted inspection and maintenance app for critical infrastructure operators (water, gas, oil, district energy) who rely on valves, hydrants, and regulators that quietly degrade. Field crews capture standardized photos, short videos, and quick measurements during routine rounds; the system flags early signs of leakage, corrosion, actuator wear, misalignment, and tampering. It also enforces evidence-based workflows: QR/NFC asset ID, step-by-step checklists, and automatic compliance records with time, GPS, and chain-of-custody. The AI is not a magic “diagnose everything” engine; it’s a triage layer that prioritizes assets for human review and schedules follow-up work orders. The product lives or dies on being faster than paper, more trustworthy than ad-hoc spreadsheets, and easier than heavyweight EAM suites for frontline teams.
