VarroaSnap

VarroaSnap is a mobile AI app for beekeepers who need reliable varroa monitoring without tedious counting. You take a photo of your mite check (sticky board, sugar roll, or alcohol wash tray) and the app auto-detects and counts mites, flags likely false positives, and stores the result per hive with date, method, and notes. It then shows simple trends (mite load over time) and suggests when to re-test based on your region and season. This is not a magic “diagnose my hive” toy; it focuses on one measurable task that beekeepers already do but often skip because it’s annoying. The MVP can work offline in the apiary and sync later. Monetization is a low-cost subscription for unlimited scans and multi-apiary management, with a free tier capped by scans/month.
