VATReady

VATReady is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns messy sales data into VAT-ready numbers for small businesses selling across channels. Users connect Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon/eBay, Stripe, and their accounting tool, then the app classifies transactions, flags VAT anomalies (wrong rate, missing VAT ID, reverse-charge candidates), and prepares a filing pack per period. It also generates an audit trail: source transaction, applied rule, evidence, and exportable reports for accountants. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used for transaction categorization, anomaly detection, and “explain why” notes, but the core is deterministic rules and jurisdiction settings. Brutal truth: you will not beat incumbents on full compliance breadth; you win by being simpler, faster, and accountant-friendly for a narrow set of countries and platforms first.
