VaultRelay

VaultRelay is a cross-platform desktop + web app for sending encrypted files and messages to people who won’t install yet another secure messenger. You create a “relay package” (file(s) + optional note), set an expiration, and generate a share link. The recipient opens the link in any browser and decrypts locally in the page using a passphrase you share out-of-band (or a one-time QR code if you’re in person). No server-side decryption, no accounts, and minimal metadata: the server only stores encrypted blobs and expiry timers. It’s realistic because it doesn’t try to replace WhatsApp/Signal; it’s a lightweight bridge for one-off secure transfers (contracts, IDs, medical docs, credentials). Monetization is straightforward: paid tiers for larger files, longer retention, custom domains, and audit logs for small teams.
