VaultTag is a mobile + web app for serious collectors who need defensible documentation of antiques for insurance, estates, and discreet resale. It guides users through a standardized capture flow: photos from required angles, measurements, condition notes, purchase context, and supporting documents (receipts, appraisals, export permits). Each item gets a tamper-evident “record packet” with a change log and share links that can be time-limited for insurers, executors, or dealers. Optional AI helps draft condition descriptions from photos and flags missing fields, but the core value is structured, exportable records rather than “instant authentication.” The app produces insurer-friendly PDFs, estate inventories, and a clean CSV for accountants. It also supports location tracking (home, storage, gallery) and reminders for re-appraisal cycles. This is unglamorous, but it’s what collectors actually need when something goes wrong.
