VaultTrace is a mobile + web app that helps collectors and fine-jewelry buyers keep a clean, defensible record of ownership, servicing, and value. Users create a “digital dossier” per piece: purchase details, invoices, appraisal PDFs, insurance policy info, service history, and high-resolution photos. The app generates a shareable, time-stamped packet for insurers, buyers, or estate planning—without exposing sensitive data publicly. It also sends reminders for re-appraisals, insurance renewals, and routine maintenance, and can store multiple valuations over time to show value trends. An optional AI assistant extracts key fields from receipts/appraisals and flags missing documentation (e.g., no lab report, unclear metal stamp, mismatched serials). This is not a blockchain gimmick; it’s practical recordkeeping that reduces disputes and speeds claims/resale.
