The AI layer auto-classifies vendors by NAICS, flags missing compliance docs, and suggests local substitutes when a buyer requests an out-of-area vendor. Dashboards show “local spend %,” category leakage (where money leaves town), and supplier diversity metrics. This is not a marketplace; it’s a procurement enablement tool that plugs into existing processes and makes local buying easier than the default. Revenue comes from annual contracts with institutions and optional vendor premium profiles.
