VendorTripwire is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that monitors your vendor exposure and flags financial risk early—before it becomes a missed payroll, delayed shipments, or surprise price hikes. It connects to your accounting system and AP/ERP exports to map vendor concentration, payment terms, past-due trends, and dependency by product line. You can also add lightweight vendor check-ins (self-reported metrics and document requests) and track signals like abrupt term changes, repeated partial shipments, or chronic invoice disputes. The app generates a simple “vendor fragility score” and a weekly action list: diversify sourcing, renegotiate terms, prepay only with safeguards, or build safety stock. It’s not magic: it won’t predict bankruptcies perfectly, but it will make hidden concentration and cash-flow risk painfully visible and operationally actionable.
