VenomID

VenomID is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard) for fast, practical snakebite decision support. Users snap a photo of the snake (or upload a description), and the app suggests likely species based on region, pattern, and head/scale cues, then outputs a clear “do/don’t” checklist: immobilization steps, red-flag symptoms, and the nearest facilities that stock antivenom (where data exists). It also generates a shareable incident card for EMS: time of bite, location GPS, patient age/weight, symptoms, and the model’s confidence. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps with identification and summarization, but the core value is the workflow, local guidance, and logistics. It’s not a miracle cure—ID can be wrong and antivenom availability data is messy—so the app is designed to push users toward professional care, not replace it.
