VentBalance is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps homeowners fix uneven heating/cooling by guiding them through low-cost airflow tuning before they buy new HVAC gear. It connects to common smart thermostats and a few optional wireless temperature sensors, then builds a “comfort map” of your home by room and time of day. The app suggests practical actions: which vents to open/close, when to run the fan, how to adjust schedules, and whether your issue looks like insulation, duct leakage, or an undersized system. The AI part turns messy sensor data and user notes (e.g., “back bedroom freezing at night”) into prioritized, plain-English steps and a simple weekly plan. It also estimates energy impact and flags when you’re likely wasting money due to short-cycling or bad setpoints. Honest reality: it won’t fix broken equipment, but it can reduce comfort complaints cheaply.
