VerbaProof is a web + desktop app for teams that need captions and transcripts that hold up under scrutiny: HR investigations, compliance reviews, internal audits, and customer dispute resolution. It generates captions/transcripts, then forces a verification workflow: confidence scoring, speaker labeling, timecode locking, and an auditable change log for every edit. You can import Zoom/Teams recordings, phone calls, or screen captures, and export to SRT/VTT, PDF, or a “certified transcript” package with metadata (model version, audio quality metrics, who edited what, and when). It’s not trying to beat free caption tools on price; it’s built for accountability and defensibility. If the audio is too poor, it tells you bluntly and recommends re-recording or human review instead of pretending it’s accurate.
