VerseVariants
VerseVariants is a web + mobile AI-assisted study tool that lets users compare biblical (and select extra-biblical) passages across major manuscript traditions and translations, with a focus on textual variants and their theological implications. Instead of generic devotionals, it provides side-by-side variant readings (e.g., NA28/UBS, LXX vs MT where applicable), concise apparatus-style notes, and citations to public-domain sources. Users can build “variant dossiers” for sermons, classes, or papers, export citations, and share read-only links with students. The AI layer helps summarize variant significance, generate neutral explanations, and suggest further reading—but it never replaces the underlying sources and always shows provenance. The app is designed to be honest about uncertainty: it flags where the evidence is thin, where scholarly consensus is split, and where popular claims are overstated.
