VetBillReady is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps pet owners predict what their pet insurance will actually reimburse before they approve tests or procedures. Users upload their policy PDF and select their insurer/plan; the app extracts key terms (deductible, co-insurance, annual limits, exclusions, waiting periods) and guides them through a “visit estimate” flow. They can enter a vet’s itemized quote (or snap a photo of it) and get a realistic reimbursement range, plus a checklist of documentation needed to avoid claim denials. It also flags common gotchas (pre-existing condition wording, exam fees, prescription diets, bilateral exclusions) and suggests how to phrase vet notes. This doesn’t replace insurers; it reduces nasty surprises and helps people decide whether to proceed, shop around, or self-pay.
