VetHerpSOS

VetHerpSOS is a mobile + web app that helps reptile and amphibian owners quickly find truly qualified exotic vets and urgent-care options, with realistic expectations about availability and cost. The core is a verified directory (not crowdsourced noise) that highlights species-specific experience (e.g., bearded dragons, ball pythons, chameleons, axolotls), hours, emergency capability, and typical wait times. Owners can run a short triage checklist (non-diagnostic) to decide whether to seek immediate care, isolate the animal, or adjust husbandry while booking. Clinics get a lightweight portal to manage their listing, intake forms, and “accepting emergencies” status. The app also stores basic pet profiles and shares a concise “case card” (photos, symptoms, enclosure temps/humidity, recent feeding/shedding) to reduce back-and-forth. This is not a miracle AI vet; it’s a practical routing and intake tool.
