VetRelay

VetRelay is a mobile + web telemedicine intake and follow-up app that helps pet owners get structured, actionable guidance without pretending to replace a full clinic visit. Owners answer a dynamic questionnaire, upload photos/videos, and optionally connect a wearable/thermometer reading. The app routes the case to an available licensed vet/tech for asynchronous review (with optional live video if needed) and returns a clear plan: home care steps, red-flag thresholds, and whether to go to ER or book a clinic appointment. It also generates a concise “handoff summary” that can be sent to the owner’s regular vet, reducing repeat explanations and missed details. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI drafts the intake, summarizes media, and suggests triage categories, but a clinician signs off on recommendations. Realistically, success depends on tight clinical protocols, state-by-state compliance, and strong vet supply.
