VigilNotes

VigilNotes is a mobile + web app that replaces chaotic group texts and paper notebooks during hospice and palliative care. Families and caregivers can log symptoms, meds given, intake/output, mood, and “what helped” in a simple timeline that’s easy to scan during stressful moments. It supports shift handoffs with a structured checklist, and generates a concise daily summary that can be sent to the hospice nurse or care team. The AI component turns messy notes into standardized entries, flags potential medication timing conflicts, and suggests questions to ask clinicians (not medical advice). It also includes an emergency plan page (who to call, DNR location, preferred hospital) and a “comfort preferences” card to reduce repeated explanations. This is not a clinical EHR; it’s a family-facing coordination layer designed for real-life caregiving at home.
