VinayaLog

VinayaLog is a mobile + web app for monasteries to track the unglamorous, high-friction parts of monastic life: daily duties, alms/meal schedules, communal work assignments, robe/bowl inventory, and incident/conflict notes tied to local Vinaya interpretations. It’s not a “meditation app.” It’s an operations and accountability tool designed for small communities with rotating roles and limited admin capacity. The app supports offline-first entry (many monasteries have weak connectivity), multilingual templates, and role-based access so sensitive notes stay private. A lightweight AI assistant can summarize weekly duty coverage, flag repeated gaps (e.g., missed kitchen sanitation checks), and generate printable schedules and announcements. The goal is fewer misunderstandings, less admin chaos, and more time for practice—without forcing a monastery into corporate-style software.
