VINMatch

VINMatch is a mobile + web app that helps DIYers and small shops buy the correct aftermarket parts the first time. Users scan a VIN (or plate), select the job (brakes, alternator, suspension), and the app generates a “fitment confidence” checklist: engine/trim validation, production date splits, submodel notes, and required hardware/fluids. It also lets users attach photos of the old part and key measurements (bolt count, connector pins, rotor diameter) to create a shareable “order card” for any retailer. This is not magic: it won’t replace OEM catalogs, but it will reduce the most common, expensive mistakes—ordering by year/make/model only, missing trim changes, and ignoring mid-year revisions. Monetization: subscription for shops, small fee per verified order card for consumers, and affiliate revenue where allowed.
