VINProof is a web + mobile AI-assisted car valuation app that produces a “defensible value” report instead of a vague price range. Users enter a VIN (or scan it), mileage, and condition, then the app pulls comparable listings and recent sales signals, flags suspicious comps (rebuilt titles, missing options, dealer add-ons), and adjusts for region, seasonality, and trim/options. The output is a negotiation-ready PDF showing: baseline market value, adjustment line-items (tires, accidents, service gaps), confidence score, and a suggested offer/ask strategy. It also includes a quick photo-based condition checklist to reduce self-reporting bias. Realistically, it won’t beat incumbents on raw data volume; it wins by making the valuation transparent, auditable, and usable in real transactions (private party, dealer trade-in, insurance dispute prep).
