VirtuSpend

VirtuSpend is a web app (with an optional lightweight desktop agent) that finds and fixes virtualization cost waste across VMware vSphere, Proxmox, and Hyper-V. It ingests inventory, performance metrics, and billing/chargeback tags to identify oversized VMs, idle test environments, zombie snapshots, orphaned disks, and forgotten templates. The app produces a weekly “savings plan” with concrete actions: right-size CPU/RAM, schedule power policies, consolidate underutilized hosts, and enforce lifecycle rules for non-prod. It integrates with ticketing (Jira/ServiceNow) to turn recommendations into approvals and changes, and it can run in read-only mode for cautious teams. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules handle obvious waste; AI helps prioritize actions, predict risk of right-sizing, and generate change tickets with rollback steps. Expect pushback: enterprises already have monitoring—this must prove savings fast.
