VoteWhip

VoteWhip is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns messy legislative activity into practical, vote-focused analytics. It ingests bill text, amendments, committee actions, and member voting histories to estimate likely vote outcomes, identify swing legislators, and surface coalition patterns by issue, district, and donor/interest signals where available. It produces one-page “whip sheets” for each bill with: probability of passage by chamber, top persuadables, likely objections, and suggested outreach sequencing. This is an AI + traditional analytics product: AI summarizes and classifies provisions, while statistical models handle vote propensity and scenario planning. It’s realistic about data gaps and uncertainty, showing confidence intervals and “what would change the forecast” drivers. It’s not a newsroom product; it’s a workflow tool for government affairs teams who need faster, defensible predictions and briefings.
