VowMinute

VowMinute is a mobile app (with a lightweight web companion) that turns meditation into a daily “micro-vow” practice: one intentional commitment for the next 24 hours (e.g., “three mindful breaths before replying,” “one silent minute before lunch”). Instead of chasing streaks or long sits, users choose a vow, schedule 1–3 nudges, and do a 60–180 second guided contemplation that frames the vow in a secular or faith-aligned lens (Buddhist, Christian contemplative, Stoic, nonreligious). The app then asks for a brief evening reflection: what triggered you, what helped, what you learned. Over time it builds a personal “rule of life” library and shows which vows actually reduce reactivity. It’s intentionally small: no endless content feed, no influencer teachers—just structured practice, reflection, and accountability that fits real schedules.
