VowTracker

VowTracker is a mobile + web app for Mahayana practitioners who want their Bodhisattva commitments to survive real-world schedules. It turns vows and precepts into a lightweight daily check-in: short prompts, optional reminders, and a private reflection log. Users can choose vow sets (e.g., Bodhisattva vows, five precepts, temple-specific commitments) and map them to practical behaviors (speech, consumption, work, relationships). The app provides weekly summaries that highlight patterns without moralizing, plus a “repair” flow: if you broke a commitment, it guides you through a brief confession/reflection and a concrete next step. This is not a generic meditation timer; it’s a habit-and-accountability tool designed around Mahayana ethics and intention-setting. It can include optional AI to rewrite reflections into clear action plans, but the core value works without it.
