W2Chaser

W2Chaser is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small businesses and accounting firms stay compliant by automating the painful, error-prone process of collecting W-9s, issuing 1099s, and distributing W-2/1099 forms on time. It centralizes payee/vendor contact info, tracks consent for e-delivery, sends scheduled reminders, and logs every outreach attempt for audit defense. Users can import vendor lists from QuickBooks/Xero/CSV, request W-9s via secure links, validate TIN/name matches (where available), and generate a “compliance trail” report showing who was contacted, when, and what was received. This is a traditional app with light AI: AI drafts reminder emails/SMS, flags likely missing/incorrect fields, and suggests next actions based on response patterns. It does not replace a payroll/tax filing system; it reduces the chaos that causes late filings and penalties.
