WageAudit

WageAudit is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that continuously checks payroll runs for compliance and accuracy before you submit or pay. It connects read-only to your payroll provider and time-tracking system, then runs a rule engine across overtime calculations, minimum wage thresholds, meal/rest break premiums (where applicable), retro pay, contractor vs employee flags, and jurisdiction-specific tax setup sanity checks. It produces a clear “fix list” with dollar impact, employee-level explanations, and an audit trail you can hand to your accountant or HR. This is not a full payroll replacement—because competing with incumbents is brutal. Instead, it’s a pre-flight and post-run audit layer that reduces expensive corrections, employee disputes, and compliance exposure. It also generates a monthly compliance snapshot for leadership: recurring error types, departments with timecard issues, and estimated penalty risk.
