WageGuard

WageGuard is a web app (with optional mobile manager approvals) that runs automated pre-payroll checks on exports from your existing payroll provider. Instead of replacing ADP, Paychex, Gusto, Workday, or UKG, it validates what you’re about to pay: duplicate employees, unexpected net pay swings, missing terminations, retro pay anomalies, overtime rule mismatches, negative checks, and bank account changes. It ingests payroll registers, timekeeping exports, and HRIS change logs, then produces a clear “stoplight” risk report and an approval workflow. An AI layer explains anomalies in plain language, drafts questions for managers, and suggests likely root causes (e.g., rate change + missed effective date). The product is realistic: it’s an add-on control layer for finance and payroll teams who can’t afford mistakes but don’t want a multi-month payroll replacement.
