WageProof is a mobile + web app that helps hourly and salaried workers verify whether they were paid correctly—without needing to understand payroll rules. Users connect their payroll provider (or upload paystubs), import time punches/schedules, and the app reconciles hours, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, reimbursements, and deductions against expected pay. It flags likely underpayments, missing hours, incorrect tax withholdings, and suspicious deduction changes, then generates a clean “dispute packet” with evidence (dates, hours, rates, policy assumptions) to send to HR/payroll. For gig and multi-job workers, it consolidates income across employers and highlights anomalies week-to-week. This is an AI + traditional app: AI extracts and normalizes messy paystub/time data, while deterministic rules handle calculations. It’s realistic: most people don’t check pay carefully, and small payroll mistakes add up.
