WageWitness

WageWitness helps workers document wage theft and labor-rights violations with evidence that actually holds up. Users log shifts, breaks, tips, and pay received, then upload supporting proof (photos of schedules, paystubs, messages). The app auto-builds a clean, exportable “case packet” tailored to the user’s location (e.g., what details a labor board typically asks for) and flags missing information before it’s too late. It also provides plain-language guidance on next steps: internal complaint, labor department filing, small claims, or contacting a local legal aid clinic—without pretending to be a lawyer. This is not a feel-good awareness tool; it’s a practical recordkeeping and workflow app for people who are underpaid, misclassified, or intimidated into silence. It works offline-first so users can log data discreetly and sync later.
