WageWitness

WageWitness is a mobile + web app that helps hourly and gig workers document wage theft and labor violations in a way that’s actually usable by legal aid, unions, and regulators. Users log shifts, breaks, tips, mileage, schedule changes, and messages, then upload photos of paystubs and rosters. The app auto-builds a clean “case packet” with timelines, discrepancy calculations (overtime, minimum wage, missed breaks), and exportable PDFs. It also includes a local directory of worker centers/legal clinics and a guided intake form that matches users to the right help. This is not a magic lawsuit button: most cases won’t be pursued without solid documentation and jurisdiction fit. The product’s value is making evidence collection simple, consistent, and credible, so workers can act before months of records are lost.
