WaitlistBrunch is a mobile + web app that shows real-time brunch wait times and lets you join a restaurant’s waitlist remotely. The core is a lightweight host tool for restaurants (web tablet view) that updates party size, quoted wait, and seating status in seconds—no expensive POS integration required. Diners see nearby brunch spots with live waits, busy hours, and “best time to arrive” suggestions, then reserve a place in line with SMS updates. It also supports “group arrival windows” so friends can join the same party without chaos. This is not glamorous: restaurants hate new tools and diners are fickle. So the product is intentionally narrow—brunch-only, weekends-first, and focused on reducing walk-outs and angry guests. Monetization is a restaurant subscription plus optional per-seated-party fee for high-volume locations.
