WaitProof is a mobile + web app for small and mid-sized venues (clinics, salons, quick-service restaurants, government counters) that need credible, low-effort wait-time measurement without expensive hardware. Staff place a phone at the queue entry or service desk; the app uses on-device computer vision to count arrivals, estimate service rate, and produce a simple, timestamped “wait log” and daily report. Customers can optionally scan a QR code to get a rough ETA and a nudge when their turn is near, reducing crowding and walkaways. The core value is not flashy predictions—it’s consistent measurement, trend detection, and clear evidence for staffing schedules, appointment slot sizing, and peak-hour planning. It’s designed for messy real-world operations: partial visibility, people leaving the line, and multiple service points. If accuracy drops, the app flags low-confidence periods instead of pretending it knows.
