WaitPulse

WaitPulse is a mobile + web app for small-to-mid venues (clinics, salons, quick-service restaurants, DMV-style offices) that replaces the guesswork of “how long is the wait?” with live, probabilistic ETAs and arrival pacing. Staff run a lightweight check-in (QR code, kiosk, or staff tap) and the system continuously estimates service time per station based on real throughput, no-shows, and staffing changes. Customers get a link (no download required) showing their place in line, a realistic ETA range, and a “leave and return” window to reduce crowding. The app also nudges customers to arrive gradually (e.g., “come back in 18–25 minutes”) and alerts staff when the queue is about to spike. It’s not magic: accuracy depends on consistent check-ins, but even moderate adoption reduces lobby chaos and angry confrontations.
