WalkPulse

WalkPulse helps small businesses and commercial tenants validate a location using real, on-the-ground pedestrian activity instead of broker anecdotes. Users drop a pin, define a radius, and request “walk counts” for specific time windows (e.g., weekdays 7–9am, lunch, weekends). Local gig workers follow a standardized route, submit short video clips and quick context tags (weather, events, construction), and the app converts this into comparable metrics: average pedestrians per 10 minutes, directionality, stroller/wheelchair friendliness, and “dwell potential” (people stopping vs. passing through). The product is intentionally narrow: it’s not a general walking tracker; it’s a decision tool for leases, pop-ups, and kiosks. Reports are exportable as a simple PDF for internal approval or landlord negotiation. Expect operational work: recruiting counters, quality control, and coverage limitations in smaller cities are real constraints.
